Rust Bucket is a turn based dungeon crawler that is built with mobile in mind. Swipe to take a step, swipe into enemies to attack. It’s as simple as that, but don’t be fooled into thinking this is a casual game!

Even if this kind of turn based puzzle has already been seen in such great entries (ending was the first to use the mechanics at their best), Rust Bucket proves that it is possible to create a colourful background with a quite interesting personality. Since the content is free and at its beginning, we can just be excited to see how nitrome exploit the potential of this game.

And thanks for making me hate Summoners Wars without having to even play it.

Fun and complex game! Cant wait for an update! Right now there is no point in collecting coins since they cant be used for purchases or such. I would love to see items implemented into the game.

Rust Bucket is one of my favorite games and it is very cool but in this update I stuck in level 37 in the last task and I see the stairs the hole time

Amazing graphics and gameplay. Its not as easy as it looks, which makes it super satisfing as soon as you finally finish the level youre trying to do. Rustbucket feels a bit like "Crypt of the Necrodancer", Id even say its the perfect mobile adaption of this awesome PC game. Buy the ad-free version to support the developers, they deserve it!

Some bad moments

Bad lvl design for #25, lvl is impossible to finish, apparently last patch must have changed slime behavior since walk through videos show different slime placements. Bad play testing

Not worth keeping on my phone with advertisements after each level.

It doesnt work anymore. It crashes now immediately after start up every time. I have iPhone 5s

I loved this game. Unfortunately, recent updates have added incessant advertisements that overwhelm an otherwise excellent game. Every three deaths or so, a blaring ad offers me the same obnoxious app over and over. When stuck on a tricky puzzle, this came mean an ad every minute or so. This jarring interruption makes carefully planning a strategy very difficult. Typically, Nitrome games have higher standards in filling their games with advertisements. Im disappointed that this is the path theyve taken.

Theres still the icon to remove the ads but doesnt do anything. You now have to play with annoying popup ads. Instant delete.

It would be a 5-star game, however watching an ad every minute is just to annoying. Ive tried to purchase ads free addon, but the purchase button does not work.
